About Sean

I come from a family of diverse faith backgrounds. I am grateful that my parents chose to follow Jesus together and for God using my grandmother to lead me to a saving faith in Jesus at a young age. My boast is only in Christ; knowing him has been a life of seeing my sin more clearly and his grace more abundantly than ever.  

My baptism as a young adult marks God starting something new in me. He opened my eyes to his supreme worth and his plans for all people and nations to know him. God united my wife, Melanie, and me with a vision for our life to be part of God’s story. The Lord led me to a vocation as a physician; it’s a joy to practice an incomplete kind of care and healing that is truly fulfilled in Jesus, the consummate physician of our bodies and souls.

Our three girls bring much joy to our home. Our family has been part of this church since 2015. These people have been a mercy from God, walking alongside us, learning how to follow Jesus more closely. I desire to serve and love the saints in this place for years to come.

My Hope for Citizens Church

My hope for Citizens Church is that we would enjoy life together in God’s Kingdom and make disciples in our city and among the nations, expectantly waiting for Jesus and eternity with him.
