Home Groups are outposts of Kingdom community where we are formed into and practice the love of Christ. We pursue this by practicing and encouraging one another to be with the Father, love like Jesus and live in the Spirit.
You can sign up for one of our quarterly Group Connects on the Events page of our website.
We ask that you participate in every week of Group Connect to be placed in a Home Group.
We will connect you with a home group that is multi-generational and in close proximity to you.
Groups meet anywhere from 2 – 4 times a month in homes throughout Collin County and surrounding areas.
Individuals will share praises and testimonies and encourage one another in love and accountability.
There is a time to reflect on the past Sunday sermon or to walk through a group study together.
Groups find ways to help one another in times of need and to serve their communities together.
There is ongoing prayer for one another throughout the week and when you meet as a group.
Groups are encouraged and taught how to live out the truths of God’s word in their daily and weekly life, through spiritual practices and disciplines.
The Christian faith was never meant to be lived in isolation. It’s not an individual thing. It’s a community thing. That doesn’t mean we don’t have our own personal relationships with God through Jesus Christ, but it does mean that those relationships are intended to be lived out with our brothers and sisters in Jesus. God uses His people as a way to build us up and to form us more into the image of His Son. In Scripture, we see this through the “one-anothers.” There are 59 passages in the New Testament that reference “one another,” calling and commanding us to love one another, pray for one another, encourage one other, teach one another and so on. We need one another, we need community, to help us live obediently and faithfully on mission for Jesus Christ.
We have created a number of group studies from past sermon series and have several studies that we recommend from other ministries.
