Graphic Designer
I was born in Chicago to two loving parents. My father, the spiritual leader of our household, was diagnosed with ALS. Seeing his unwavering pursuit of Christ even in suffering was powerful for me as a young child, and I carry that with me today. It demonstrated a love that I soon realized was more profound than anything else. At a young age, in the quiet, I prayed to receive Jesus. When my dad met our Savior, it led my family to Texas. At the time, I had a skewed view of Christ, seeing Him in more of a “give and take” relationship. But in 2008, at Sunday’s Camp in Arlington, I rededicated my life and came to understand the true gift of the gospel.
God gave me the gift to create very early on, and He has opened many doors for me to use that creativity. I studied at Dallas Baptist University and graduated with my undergraduate degree in 2018 and my Master of Liberal Arts in 2020. I am grateful that graphic design has become such a passion of mine, along with a love for painting and other art forms. However, regardless of the medium, my goal is to create with excellence in a way that brings glory to God.
While in college, I met my wonderful husband, Casey, and we married in 2016. Two years later, we were blessed with our wildflower of a daughter, who keeps our world full of wonder. It is an honor to have them as my family.
My hope for Citizens Church is that anyone who walks through the doors would see a light brighter than this world can offer, and we would be intentional about living our lives for the Kingdom.
