1. What comes to mind when you think of the fear of the Lord? Is this different than the fear of other things in the world?
2. How is the fear of the Lord the beginning of wisdom and knowledge?

1. Begin by thanking God that He is our kind and gracious Father. Thank Him for His gracious invitation for us to ask for wisdom and fear Him.
2. Confess your ungodly fear of other things in your life.
3. Call out to God for wisdom and knowledge. Thank Him that He gives it generously (James 1).
4. End by listening. Ask God to reveal to you ungodly fear. Ask Him if there are ways or things that are directing your life that are not founded on the fear of God. Ask that He would replant His truth in your heart, thoughts, and body. Ask to fear Him alone.
