Our Young Adult ministry is geared toward meeting those in "the middle". Maybe you're just out of college and starting a career. Or maybe you're newly married and looking for community. Or perhaps you're single and still trying to put "roots" down somewhere. The Young Adult Ministry of Citizens Church serves adults ages 18–35, both single and married, by creating spaces for them to find life in Christ together.
Establishing and fostering a deep, flourishing relationship with Jesus Christ and living out of communion with Him.
Connecting individuals who are deeply rooted in Jesus with others who can walk alongside them and provide them with biblical wisdom to navigate life’s complex journey.
The 129 is a weekly gathering for young adults at Citizens Church to behold the beauty of the gospel together. The 129 meets every Thursday night from 7–8:30 pm.
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 1 Peter 2:9
Every fall, we take a weekend and do a retreat for a few days. This gives us a special time to have guest speakers come in and help focus our hearts and minds on Jesus.
Like we do in the fall, we also do a retreat every spring as an opportunity to disconnect from everyday life to reconnect with God.
We want to make sure you have the resources you need for the season of life you are in. Below are some links for counseling resources as well as a way to get connected into our young adult community.
