I am blessed to have been raised in a loving family, the youngest of four children. As a family, we occasionally attended church, and I recall learning the stories of the Bible and hearing challenging sermons. However, I did not put my faith in Christ until I was 39 years old. By the grace of God and His love for me, He protected me years as I pursued the things of this world. And He graciously allowed my wife and I to come to faith in Jesus Christ together. A few years later, our only daughter, Jackie, was saved as well. What a blessing as a family to all come to know and follow Christ and experience trials and celebrations together as we continue grow in our faith.
My hope for The Village is that we will continue to love and support the universal Church and share our lives as a testimony to the love, mercy and grace God extends to the lost world.
We hold to the central beliefs of the Christian faith, as communicated throughout Scripture and summed up in the ancient creeds of the Church.
