Getting Ready

What do I wear?
Wear what's comfortable for you! Sundays are pretty casual at Citizens Church, so you don't need to stress about dressing up.
Where do I park?
We have a front-row space for you! If you are a first-time visitor, please turn on your lights as you enter the parking lot, and you'll be directed to one of our visitor parking spots.

Our parking lot fills up fast, so if you aren't able to arrive early, you may be directed to park across the street in our overflow parking area. The crosswalk is easily accessible across Legacy Drive and allows you to quickly walk across the street to our church building.
Do I need to bring anything?
Bringing yourself is more than enough! If you have a Bible, we encourage you to bring it with you. If not, we have Bibles available for you to take home, or you can download our free app that includes the Bible and our teaching notes.
What will my kids do?
Whatever's best for you is great for us! Your kids are welcome to stay with you during the service, or you can check them into one of our age-appropriate children's ministry environments, designed for children from birth through fifth grade.

Walking In

What time does sevice begin?
We have two worship gatherings every Sunday at 9 am and 11 am. Our Worship Center is our primary gathering area, but seating is also available in the Foyer. For our busier Sundays, you can also find the worship service streamed to our Student room. Regardless of where you sit, you'll experience the same worship and message.
How will I be greeted?
We will have friendly faces ready to welcome you! We want you to feel at home from the moment you walk in. Stop by our Connections area–we'd love to get to know you!
How will I know where to go?
No one likes feeling lost in a new place, so at Citizens Church, we've made it easy for you to find your way. We have greeters at every entrance ready to answer any questions or find anyone wearing a name tag, and they'll be more than happy to help you out.
What happens after service
After service, we will have men and women available for prayer in our Worship Center. You can also head to our Connections area in the foyer–we'd love to get to know you better and answer any questions you might have.

Checking in Kids

How do I check-in my kids for the first time?
Volunteers will be at the Children’s Check-In area with a tablet ready to help you get your information entered and your kids checked in. They’ll talk you through what you’ll need to pick up your kids and direct you to the right room(s), too!
Want to save yourself a step? Pre-register your kids so you can simply check in when you get here!
What do you do to keep my kids safe?
Here are three key ways we keep your kids safe while in our care:
  1. Every volunteer in your kid's ministry area has been vetted and background-checked. Additionally, they are a part of a team who works together to make sure each kid's needs are met.
  2.  Each room is also equipped with security cameras.
  3. At check-in, your child receives a name tag with a three-digit code. You will receive a parent tag with your child's matching three-digit code, which MUST be shown to check your child out at the end of service. The codes change from week to week, so tags cannot be recycled.
  4. If your child needs you during service, your unique 3-digit code will be displayed on the Worship Center screen and we will also text you.
Our children's ministry team is there to make check-in easy for you and secure for your kids.

What age-appropriate classes are available for children?
We’re passionate about creating a safe, Christ-centered environment where kids can learn and grow. Our programs are designed for children from birth through 5th grade, with age‑appropriate classrooms and activities.

LittleCity (Birth–Kindergarten)
In LittleCity, we maintain a 1:3 adult‑to‑child ratio to ensure every child receives personal care and attention. Each room features thoughtfully chosen Bible teaching, crafts, and toys to create a warm, inviting space where your child can experience the love of Christ.

KidCity (1st–5th Grades)
In KidCity, each classroom has two dedicated teachers. Every Sunday begins with KidCity Large Group—where kids sing songs, worship together, and hear engaging large‑group Bible teaching—then moves to grade‑specific small groups for Bible study, crafts, and fellowship.

In the Service

Where do I sit?
Sit where you feel comfortable! Whether you prefer to sneak in the back row or you like a front-row seat, at Citizens Church, you don’t have to worry about taking someone’s spot. If you have trouble finding an open section, our volunteers by the doors would love to help you find somewhere to sit!
How long will the service last?
Our services are designed to be 70 minutes long. This time includes worship, announcements, Scripture reading, teaching, communion, and prayer. Every part of the service is clearly explained, so you won’t have to guess what to do or when to sit or stand.
What is worship like?
At Citizens Church, we have live worship every Sunday! We play modern, reverent worship songs that allow for reflective moments of praise. You'll be invited to sing along, but you can participate however you're comfortable!
How is the Bible taught?
Our teaching pastors preach live messages every Sunday. We teach verse by verse through the Bible and apply Scripture for whole-person discipleship growth.

You can check out what our messages feel like by watching here!
Are children allowed in service?
Yes, children are allowed in service! We encourage you to check out our children's ministry for age-appropriate classes and teachings.

Are you a nursing mother? We have a Mother's Room available by our Kids Check-In kiosks in the foyer.
How do you serve children with disabilities?
At Citizens Church, we believe every child—regardless of learning style or ability—should have the opportunity to experience the love and message of Christ.

Our ABLE ministry provides trained “buddies” during each service to support and walk alongside children with disabilities, helping them engage in a way that’s meaningful and personalized.

Additionally, our building is fully equipped with accessible bathrooms and elevator access to the second floor to ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for every family.
