Because we live in a fallen world, the shadow of death is never far away, even on our best days. Yet David reminds us that even in the darkest valley, God remains completely in control and faithfully present with us. Because our Shepherd is with us, we can walk through the valley with confidence and declare, “I will fear no evil.”
