Next Gen Resident

I grew up in Wylie, Texas, and wasn’t raised in a Christian home. I was a pretty anxious child and sought approval from those around me. God called out to me in middle school, and I asked my mom to take me to a youth group. Upon hearing the gospel, I was so intrigued by Jesus’ character and began to learn more and more about who God was. I gave my life to Jesus shortly after, and I never looked back. Life with Jesus has brought me a peace beyond my own understanding, grace that has set me free, and love I can’t comprehend.

My Hope for Citizens Church
My hope for Citizens church is that we would be a people marked by our love for those around us–that we would seek Jesus above all else and ultimately bring Him glory.
