Associate Students Minister
I was born in Plano and by God's grace I was raised in a Christian home. My family moved frequently, so I have lived all over the map. However, in third grade while living in Tennessee, I heard the Gospel at my school's Wednesday chapel. After moving to Indiana in sixth grade — tired of starting over at new schools — my parents decided to homeschool me and my three younger siblings. In 2018, after a couple more moves, we came back to Texas and found a new church home where I was for nine years. It was there during my senior year of high school that I felt the Lord calling me to ministry.
After graduating from high school, I attended Dallas Baptist University and continued volunteering in my church's student ministry. I graduated from DBU in 2023 with a B.A. in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics, started working in student ministry immediately, and am now in seminary.
I’ve been blessed to work in many facets of the church, but nothing brings me more joy than teaching and discipling students to help them walk in the way of Jesus. I am so excited that the Lord has brought me to Citizens Church to serve on the student team!
My Hope for Citizens Church
My hope for Citizens is that in Christ we would learn to live as image bearers who have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus. Echoing Paul, my prayer is that we would know the breadth and length and height and depth of the love of Christ, being filled with all the fullness of God (Eph. 3:18–19).
