Get to know Michael Bleecker
Elder & Worship Pastor
God, being rich in mercy, gave me the gift of salvation on July 27, 1996, among 62,000 other men at Promise Keepers in Indianapolis, Indiana. I was 16 years old.
I started playing guitar my freshman year at Ouachita Baptist University and soon realized I had a passion to lead others in worship. This passion grew into a calling at TBarM the summer of 1998.
After graduating college and a short stint in Nashville, I moved to Dallas where I led the music at Metro Bible Study. It was there that I realized my calling to be a part of a local body of believers.
I served as the Worship Pastor at The Village Church for 17 years and was called to Citizens Church in 2019 where I have loved leading and serving the people at Citizens.
I have loved being married to Faith since 2003 and being a daddy to 4 amazing boys: Evan, Jude, Beau and Coen.
My Hope for Citizens Church
That we would be a people who enjoy God, love people, and make disciples.
