Paul, in Romans 2, reminds us sin is a universal problem; it does not discriminate. We are inwardly depraved and can easily rely on external morality, which leads us down a path of religious hypocrisy and hardened hearts. God's judgment will be according to his gospel, and the only hope for us is to be found In Christ Jesus.
