By the grace of God, I grew up in a home where we attended church regularly. However, from a young age, I understood who Jesus is as Savior, but I didn't quite grasp the concept of who He is as Lord of my life. It wasn't until high school where I began to understand my sin and daily need for dependence on Him. At the same time, there were idols in my heart that led me to seeking after the approval of man instead of the Lord's desire for my life. After completing my time at the University of Arkansas, I did a discipleship program with Pine Cove. It was there that I deeply understood the sinful idols of my heart and what it means to fully surrender my life fully to Him and His ways.

Since I can remember, God has given me an eye to see things in a creative way, whether that be through art, writing, and so on. I graduated with a degree in Journalism, with the hopes of using my creativity for ministry. I am so honored to be part of the ministry that happens at Citizens Church and excited to see how the Lord moves here.

My Hope for Citizens Church
My hope is that Citizens Church is a welcoming space where people see the tangible hope of Christ and understand a deeper sense of what it means to fully surrender their lives to the Lord.
