Groups & Teaching Resident
I was born & (proudly) raised in Pittsburgh, PA. My family regularly attended church, so going to youth group in middle school felt natural. It was there that I first experienced the church as the family of God and found the sense of belonging my heart was longing for. At a fall retreat in 7th grade, I heard the good news of Jesus. For the first time, my heart wanted to know and be known by God. I could see there was something significant about life with Jesus, and I wanted a piece of it.

Because I didn’t know what life with Jesus looked like, my teenage years were marked by sin, shame, and shifting identities. Despite all the facts I knew about Jesus, I felt tired and empty by my early 20s. Eventually, I pursued Him because of His continual pursuit of me. In learning to walk with Jesus and sit at His feet, He gave my restless heart a resting place. My church brought me on staff, where I spent over a decade in student and worship ministry, deepening my love for the Lord and His people.

In the fall of 2021, I moved across the country to attend Dallas Theological Seminary. I started attending The Village Church in Flower Mound, where I found a place to belong far from home. After graduating seminary, those roots led me to an opportunity to join the staff at Citizens Church in the fall of 2026. I am excited and expectant for what the Lord has in store!

When I’m not at church, you can catch me logging runs on Strava, spotting 747s, overanalyzing a movie, or making a spreadsheet of the cheapest ways to visit a remote part of the world.

My Hope for Citizens Church
My hope for Citizens Church is that we would be a people who are marked by allegiance to Jesus and the presence of His Spirit for the glory of God and good of Plano.
