Get to know Billy Malogi
Production Minister
I was born and raised in a Christian family in India. Even at a very young age, I had the privilege of serving the church as a drummer, Sunday School teacher, and later as a worship leader. However, I never knew the Lord personally until 2007, when I had a profound encounter with Him. This encounter marked a pivotal moment in my life, leading me to publicly accept the Lord as my Savior through baptism.
Before embracing the Lord's purpose in my life, I worked as a physical therapist, where I had the opportunity to evangelize to all my patients during their treatment sessions. Planning to further my education, I decided to move to Canada for my master's in Physical Therapy. Yet, God had different and better plans for my life. I chose to discontinue my physical therapy studies and underwent a spiritual awakening that compelled me to answer God's calling for full-time ministry and pursue my Masters in Divinity, sowing seeds of faith in a new land.
Answering the Lord's calling has allowed me to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering an environment of inclusivity and spiritual growth. It was during this time that I met my wife, and together, we embarked on a journey to experience God's calling and grace in our lives as a couple.
My Hope for Citizens Church
As the Production Minister at Citizens Church, my hope is that we become a community that delights in God, loves His church and people, and endeavors to make disciples using available technology to spread His Truth.
